Pastor Travis L. Baptist
Elder Travis L. Baptist is the founder and Senior Pastor of Sweet Anointing Ministries Church of God in Christ in Suisun, California. He is a native of Kankakee, Illinois, and is the youngest of nine children. From an early age, it was evident that God had marked his life for special work. At the tender age of eighteen years old, he accepted the Lord as his personal Savior and began to demonstrate his commitment to walk by faith when he relocated to California in 1991.
In 1995, Elder Baptist hears the clarion call to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and became ordained shortly thereafter. He is a multi-gifted, preacher, with the heart of a true shepherd and the spirit of an evangelist. His dynamic, unparalleled teaching and preaching ability have enabled him to capture the hearts of men and women everywhere. God has truly anointed Elder Baptist and has placed a divine sanction upon him allowing him to tread over the devil. His greatest joy is seeing lives transformed through a life submitted to Jesus Christ.
Elder Baptist and his family were members of Glad Tidings Church of God in Christ, in Hayward, California, under the leadership of Bishop J.W. Macklin prior to accepting the Pastoral call. After much prayer and counsel, with the blessings of Bishop J.W. Macklin, Elder Baptist founded the Sweet Anointing Ministries Church of God in Christ. His church held its first Service on January 3, 2010.
Elder Baptist is happily married to Mrs. Rebecca Baptist, who serves as the Director of their Women’s Ministry. They are the parents of three sons, one daughter, and two grandchildren.

Missionary Rebecca Baptist is the First Lady of Sweet Anointing Ministries Church of God in Christ, where she serves closely in ministry alongside her husband Pastor Travis L. Baptist.
Missionary Baptist brings an extraordinary style and compelling anointing to her ministry. She is the Director of the Women’s Ministry. God has given her a burden and passion to reach, reconcile, and restore hurting women to the Lord, through her own brokenness and experiences. God has enabled her to reach deep into the hearts of women of all ages, bringing about spiritual healing, deliverance, and wholeness. This Virtuous Women of God exemplifies true Christian leadership in all that she does.
She is the loving mother of three sons, David, Bryant, Marvin, and one daughter Vanice. She is also the proud grandmother to granddaughter (Kimani) and grandson (David Josiah). She is very much devoted to her family and the work of the Lord.
